Songs For Jimmy Fallon’s Truck

Hey, Jimmy Fallon, the other night you asked about suggestions for Country Songs you could listen to while driving your truck. I started to compile a Top Ten List off the top of my head, but couldn’t narrow it down to ten, so then I had a dozen plus one, what you all call a Baker’s Dozen, or better yet, a Bakersfield Dozen, and there was still one song left over for Honorable Mention:

1. “Guitar Town” by Steve Earle
2. “Ramblin’ Fever” by Merle Haggard
3. “On the Road Again” by Willie Nelson
4. “If You’ve Got the Money (I’ve Got the Time)” by Lefty Frizzell
5. “You Never Even Called Me By My Name” by David Allan Coe
6. “Long White Cadillac” by Dwight Yokam
7. “Me and Bobbie McGee” by Janis Joplin
8. “I’m a Truck” by Red Simpson
9. “One Bud Wiser” by Gretchen Wilson
10. “Poncho & Lefty” by Townes Van Zandt
11. “Six Days on the Road” by Dave Dudley
12. “Hey, Good Lookin'” by Hank Williams
13. “I Love This Bar” by Toby Keith

Honorable Mention:
14. “Pop a Top” by Jim Ed Brown

I will blog about why each song should be included, and other interesting bits of trivia, but for now I am just going to send out the list and start posting the songs titles on Twitter.
